Clean up

Well Christmas was finally put away two weeks ago. The picture above shows MOST of my Christmas stuff but the rest is on the floor. At first I was really sad to have it take down. Sad because the holiday feeling is slowly passing and also because I think I have more Christmas decor than regular house decor so I was feeling all empty. Once everything was put away though and everything started to look back to normal I felt really good and let out a huge "SIGH...." I didn't mind the empty space anymore. I felt cleaned up and organized. It felt like a great way to start the new year. Blaine and I cleaned and put stuff away and it feels so good to just clean up and have a fresh space. That is one thing that we both love, to be organized. We like a clean desk, a made up bed, and an organized house. Not that we are perfect, and no we don't make our bed every morning....but we would like to. haha Little by little I have been reorganizing places like closets and cabinets and doing some "soon to be Spring cleaning". Feels rejuvinating. If I had more money and time I would totally decorate for Valentine's Day but since it's like 2 weeks away, I'm just not going to worry about it this year. Maybe I'll do Valentine's day crafts over summer :)
