Blaine and Priscilla Davis: Slade

Oh my goodness, words cannot express how much we love Slade! Fastest month of our lives. The days have been a blur! Filled with love, tears, less sleep, more smiles, and such a full heart. He's a little bit about our growing boy!

When he was born he was 6.6 lbs, 17.75 inches
NOW 8 pounds, 21 inches (give or take...forgot stats haha)
Slade came out with a head full of hair….looked really black but it’s starting to get lighter
Makes the world's saddest face with his frown
He started out hating his diaper changes...only time he would scream bloody murder. Now he likes them only after he's full and happy.
It’s looking like he might keep his blue eyes! Just like Dad
He liked his swing….like twice haha he’ll be fine, then we’ll put him in it and he’ll scream to get out…he just wants to be held by his parents
He does like his bouncer a bit more but the vibration that comes with it is usually not enough, I tap my foot on it while we eat dinner and he loves it, he then falls asleep there
He loves his carseat! Sometimes when its time to go and hes fussy, we put him in there and THEN he calms down.
With that, he loves car rides, he falls asleep or is happily awake
Also in his carseat, he loves going on walks in his stroller
Loves to fall asleep on mom and dad's arms
He survives sacrament meeting at church because he’s sooo asleep.
He usually survives primary sharing time too, even with all the rowdy and loud singing kids!
He hates pacifiers, we found one MAM kind and he liked it for like two days
He can’t find his thumb so he sucks on his whole fist
He kinda hates nursing sometimes, he has his good days and bad days! #itsbeentough
He sometimes sucks on his arm right after eating….but he’s not hungry anymore
People love to make his hair a faux hawk
Likes his picture taken! Really! I think he likes the shutter sound haha
Loves the ceiling fan above our bed
He doesn't really pay attention to Lexy our cat...she doesn't pay attention to him either haha
He LOVES cuddling with dad in bed or on the couch
NB and 0-3 month clothes is what he wears
Eats like 12 times a day! Hungry man
When he eats too much he gets the hiccups and he doesn't mind
Sleeps pretty good : 9pm - 1am then 2pm-6am ....can't complain!
LOVES to be swaddled, can't sleep without his SwaddleMe
He started sleeping in his crib by like 3 weeks... he started in his bassinet but after midnight feeding, straight to the crib and now just in his crib
